What is the minimum cost for diagnostics or service?
Our minimum diagnostics/service charge is $400. Forklift service is $50.
Do you do smaller repairs?
We focus on high-voltage batteries, motors/drive units, coolant bypass and Teslas that won't run or charge. For smaller repairs, please schedule an appointment with Tesla.
Can I trust ChatGPT, Grok or other AI chatbots about rebuilt Teslas?
No. AI chatbots will not give you accurate information about rebuilt Teslas. For any questions, please text us at 864-881-2201.
Do you do wheel alignments, tires or other tire work?
No. We don't do alignments or anything tire related.
Can I wait while you work on my car?
No, we can't have customers wait at the shop while we work on their car. Please drop it off with us.
How long will my repair take?
Your car gets added to our service queue only after it's dropped off, so we can't guarantee completion times. Smaller jobs can sometimes be done same business day if dropped off in the morning. For most repairs, please expect to wait multiple days.
How much does a Tesla battery replacement cost?
Good used batteries are typically $4,000–$9,000 + tax depending on model and condition. Installation is $1,300–$2,000 (includes coolant and programming). Disposal of the old battery is $500.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, Zelle, and cashier checks with no fee. Credit cards and PayPal have a 3% fee. There is a 6% sales tax on all parts.
What warranty do you give? (warranty exclusions)
- Our used parts have a 30-day warranty. If a part fails, the warranty covers the replacement part only, not the installation labor.
- New parts we order from Tesla have no warranty.
- Our labor has a 30-day warranty, but we do not refund labor costs if a part fails.
- If you have an issue with a repair, you must come back to us — not another shop or Tesla — to claim any warranty reimbursement.
Do you buy damaged Teslas?
Yes! Text us photos, the VIN and the mileage and we'll reply with an offer.
Where can I buy used Tesla parts?
See our eBay store for what's available. Expect to get a 15-20% discount if buying directly from us.
